Ed Miliband’s ‘Cost of Living Contract’ stands in stark contrast to David Cameron’s Tories who refuse to admit that the cost of living crisis exists. Nigel Farage’s UKIP pretend to be the champion of Britain’s hard working people, when the truth is they are even more right wing than the Tories.
A closer look at Nigel Farage and UKIP reveals an ugly truth. A vote for UKIP means a vote for higher taxes for working families and huge tax giveaways for the rich. It means even deeper cuts to the public services you rely on and charges to see your GP. It means scrapping workers’ rights while ending the requirement for people on benefits to look for work
On 22nd May we must send a clear message to UKIP as well as David Cameron’s Tories: you cannot claim to be a party for working people when you would destroy jobs, our health service, and basic rights.
There is only one party which truly understands the cost-of-living crisis and will take the action required to make hardworking Britain better off – Labour.
